A foundation for a storage shed, workshop, or small outbuilding. Typically 3.5-4 inches, with a stable compacted base. Drainage away from the building is required.
HVAC and generator equipment pads
Compact slabs — sometimes as small as 3x5 feet — poured specifically to support mechanical equipment. Typically 4-6 inches thick due to the concentrated load.
RV and boat parking pads
Heavier loads require thicker concrete — typically 5-6 inches minimum. Access for a standard concrete truck is important to confirm before scheduling.
Side yard utility surfaces
Concrete in side yards provides a clean, all-weather surface for high-traffic utility areas. These surfaces should be sloped slightly away from the structure.
